Alpha Pet Waste Removal — Route Manager (Part-Time & Full-Time)
About Us:
Alpha Pet Waste Removal has been proudly serving our community since 2007, offering dependable and affordable pet waste cleanup services to residential and commercial clients. As a veteran-owned business, we operate with the highest standards of discipline, integrity, and customer service. We’re expanding our team and looking for reliable, hardworking individuals to join us as Route Managers.
Position Overview:
The Route Manager is responsible for servicing assigned residential and commercial properties by removing pet waste, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction. You’ll work independently in the field, following a daily route schedule, using provided equipment and company vehicle (or your own if applicable). This is a hands-on, active outdoor position with opportunities for advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive assigned route and service properties according to schedule
- Locate, remove, and properly dispose of pet waste from lawns, yards, parks, and pet stations
- Inspect and refill pet waste stations (commercial clients)
- Communicate with the office team about route updates, customer notes, and service issues
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, courtesy, and customer service
- Use mobile app to check in/out of jobs and document service
- Handle light equipment maintenance and restocking as needed
- Represent the Alpha Pet Waste brand in the field with pride and care
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (company vehicle may be provided)
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, squat, and walk for extended periods
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Self-motivated and dependable
- Must love dogs (and not be squeamish!)
- Prior route or field service experience a plus (e.g., delivery, landscaping, pest control)
